This Cape Cod–style Vancouver Lake home is the epitome of serenity. The property features a koi pond and a deck perched along the cliff’s edge, overlooking the water below. Inside, the home welcomes you with warm fumed oak flooring, soaring 15-foot clerestory windows, and a custom accent mural in the living room. An all-glass sitting room offers uninterrupted lake views and features custom millwork with a built-in window seat.

This project takes every advantage of the views afforded by a small, difficult site. Through careful planning, the home is connected to the outdoors at every turn. 15-foot ceilings with clerestory windows allow the interior of the kitchen to be bathed with natural light. Large glass doors connect interior and exterior dining areas and allow the main living space to be opened to the water, bringing the outside in. On the lower level, a glass garage door connects the cabana to the pool terrace.
